Rapid Response Community Survey

This survey is designed to gather stories, data, and insight from community members, nonprofit leaders, mutual aid organizers, government partners, and funders across San Diego.

  • This survey was created in response to the powerful stories, insights, and collective wisdom shared during our Community Town Halls hosted by the Community-Centric Fundraising San Diego Chapter. Your voices have made it clear: we need bold, community-led action to address the growing resource constraints in our region.

    • Map the current landscape of resource constraints

    • Identify urgent funding and support needs

    • Advocate for bold, coordinated action from government and philanthropy

    • Strengthen our community-led declaration in solidarity, not scarcity

    • Elevate lived experiences and community wisdom to inform systems change

  • The information you share will be used to inform and strengthen our community-led Emergency Declaration and shape a collective strategy to address the region’s most pressing resource needs. This includes advocating for rapid funding and systems change with public, philanthropic, and private partners.

We are committed to making this data accessible and transparent. Aggregated and anonymized findings will be made public to support our region’s nonprofits, community leaders, funders, and policymakers in understanding the scope of current challenges and the solutions our communities are calling for.

By sharing your experience, you’re contributing to a deeper, shared understanding of what it will take to resource our communities with care, dignity, and equity.
